10 Year Anniversary
2024 marks the 10th Anniversary of the formation of Bay Brass. To celebrate, we will be holding a Gala Concert on 19th October where we will be joined by internationally renowned trombone virtuoso Nick Hudson. Nick will be joining us all day and running a low brass workshop in the afternoon. See below for more information.

International Trombone Virtuoso
Nick started playing at the age of eight and following initial tuition from his father and a brief spell in The Salvation Army, Nick was appointed principal trombone of the world famous Foden Motor Works Brass Band at the age of only fifteen. During his fourteen years in that position he established an international reputation as one of Europe's finest trombone players and teachers. He has presented masterclasses and performed in concert halls as far afield as Australia, Israel, Canada, the USA, Japan and throughout Europe. In addition he was the featured soloist at the National Brass Band Championships Gala Concert at the Royal Albert Hall in London on four occasions.
Low Brass Workshop
Nick will be leading a low brass workshop at St Luke's Church, Milber, Newton Abbot TQ12, 4LQ on Saturday 19th October 2024, 2.00pm - 4.00pm with arrival from 1.30pm. All trombone, baritone, euphonium and tuba players are welcome to attend.
Workshop tickets are £12 for adults and include entry to the Gala Concert with Under 16's free.

Gala Concert
We are delighted that Nick Hudson will be joining us as our special guest soloist for our 10th Anniversary concert. The concert will be held on Saturday 19th October, 7.30pm, also at St Luke's Church, Milber, Newton Abbot TQ12, 4LQ.
Concert Tickets are £7 for adults with Under 16's free and can be purchased from our Eventbrite page, via email or on the door (subject to availability).
